Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. When she was a teenager she sang in both the traditional and popular music. Her singing interests have broadened to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and well-known musician, has described the voice of the new artist as sharp with sweetness but with bite. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was made available in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. After Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, was awarded an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also the Latin Grammy nod. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami is her third studio album. The singer collaborated with a variety of producers and artists, such as Cory Henry. This set was released the month of March 2022, following an Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman to do so.
